A little about me (so that you know I am a real person and not a spammer!)
Have been a professional artist since 80"s: lived 25 yrs in Central America (mostly Costa Rica): call Sarasota home when in USA: am an active 60 yr old who believes its important to give back to the world and facilitate change in a positive way: feel somewhat disillusioned over the art scene in my area (very conservative): I develop expressive arts programs that focus on the needs of individuals in emotional distress or with physical or mental disabilities.
If you are an artist or artistic venue, of any kind, please select a search category here:

HI. I am actually wanting to learn to paint and wouldbe interested in some of your stuff... yhough I know not what I need.

What are your plans in Costa Rica? Peg and I have thought about a trip there. We have visions of an artists/vegan/eco retreat in yurts. Guess we are hippies now.

Thanks I will a little later, got to be somewhere at the moment. Not that I'm not somewhere right now. Will give you the information after I have my meeting with the hispanic chamber of commerce. Lots of piecing together to be done.

I am sure we can find some interested artists. Check out our newsletter via the link on the Main Page. Give me some details and I'll run a notice.

Sounds interesting and fun. Rick

Hi Katya,

Welcome to AnythingArts.com!

I look forward to knowing you here, and maybe in "real life." I too am vegan and enjoy nature more than that concrete world we find here all too often.

Feel free to post photos of your work here, use the events calendar and please invite anyone you'd like to join us here to celebrate and spread the arts.

Rick
